St. Benedict Social Action Ministry
The Social Action Ministry at Saint Benedict of Nursia Parish is dedicated to living out the Gospel through service and compassion. This ministry identifies needs within both our parish and the local community, organizing and coordinating efforts to meet those needs while fostering awareness and a spirit of compassion among parishioners.
The ministry operates a food pantry at Church of the Resurrection campus, open on the third Saturday of each month from 8:30 to 10:00 AM, and provides complete holiday meals to families in need. It also leads an annual Christmas Giving Tree program, helping bring joy to families during the holiday season.
Donations of non-perishable food items are always appreciated and can be dropped off in the baskets located in the vestibules at any of our church campuses.
