Registrations for the 2026–2027 Faith Formation Program now open
Faith Formation: Grades 1–8
At St. Benedict, faith is a way of life. Rooted in the Eucharist and centered in the home, our program helps families grow as disciples of Jesus.
Sessions meet twice a month at Our Lady of Fatima and include family meals, engaging activities, online resources and student classes (Sunday, Monday, or Thursday(bilingual) classes).
Sacramental Prep:
Students preparing for First Communion and Reconciliation attend one extra class per month (Thursday) for sacramental preparation.
Confirmation Preparation
Archbishop Christopher Coyne, in consultation with the Presbyteral Council, has announced that the age for receiving the Sacrament of Confirmation in the Archdiocese of Hartford will be lowered from 10th grade to 8th grade.
This transition will be implemented gradually over the next two years, beginning in Fall 2026. The change is part of the Archdiocese’s ongoing efforts to strengthen faith formation and better accompany young people in their journey of discipleship.
